Future of Grants in Domestic Preparedness: A DomPrep Survey
A survey-based report of thoughts and perspectives on federal grants management and helping to prepare for what's next on the horizon in emergency management.
Over the past several years, disasters such as the September 11 terrorist attacks, Hurricane Katrina and continued flooding, tornadoes and hurricanes have raised the awareness that federal emergency preparedness grants are an ongoing need to support the recovery of those affected by these disasters. However, with cuts being made across the U.S. government, these grants are not excluded and the belts have been tightened. Booz Allen is partnering with thought leaders across various segments of the government to discuss potential strategies for sustained programming in being able to ensure this funding is available when needed.
