HR Audits Task Area

Perform HR audits, to establish a baseline for development of strategic plans and to capture performance criteria.
Booz Allen Capability Overview:
A program effectiveness and results audit is designed to determine the:
- Extent to which the desired results or benefits are realized
- Effectiveness of organizations, programs, work activities, and functions
- Extent to which the audited entity has complied with applicable laws and regulations.
Program effectiveness and results audits may assess whether a program has achieved the desired level of program results to include the identification of factors inhibiting effective performance.
Economy and efficiency audits are designed to determine:
- Whether the audited entity is acquiring, safeguarding, and using resources (such as personnel, property, and dollars) economically and efficiently
- What the causes of inefficiencies or uneconomical practices are
- Whether the entity has complied with laws and regulations relating to economy and efficiency
The Booz Allen team has more than 35 years of experience conducting both program and efficiency performance audits throughout the Army, with special emphasis on providing real-time support to HR-related matters. Our staff, which includes certified internal auditors and certified public accountants, uses a three-phase audit approach and methodology that is consistent with the requirements of the Government Auditing Standards.
Booz Allen Success Story:
Booz Allen functioned as the Independent Developmental Evaluator (IDE) for the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC) Technology Integration Center to determine if the Army Information Mission Area (IMA) Systems completely satisfied its functional, technical, and performance requirements. In order to perform as the IDE and accomplish its objectives, Booz Allen developed and employed a structured technical approach and a standard methodology which provided a systematic audit of the mission area’s critical performance criteria.
