A. An indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract is a pre-awarded contract that allows the military service commands to issue and manage task orders as needed.

A. All military service commands.

Q. What is the first step to request the use of the IDIQ contract?

A. Contact your command’s Public Affairs Officer (PAO) to determine your requirements and help you draft a statement of work (SOW). The SOW will be channeled to CHINFO for processing and approval. Once approved, a task order will be issued to contractors to compete.

A. No, as long as your command has the funding to support your requirements.
