Former Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence Joins Booz Allen Hamilton

McLean, VA, August 14, 2003 — Management and technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton today announced that Robert W. (Bob) Noonan, former Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence for the US Army, has become a Principal in the firm.

Working in Booz Allen's Falls Church, Va., office, Noonan will contribute to larger growth of the firm's management and technical consulting to the national intelligence community.

"Bob Noonan brings a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to Booz Allen's intelligence services offering," said Booz Allen Vice President Mike McConnell. "He will help lead our consulting services to the United States Army and to the national intelligence community. We are very pleased that Bob has chosen to join us. His depth and breadth of knowledge, leadership, and experience will serve Booz Allen's clients very well."

Prior to joining Booz Allen, Noonan had a distinguished career in the US Army, rising to become the service's senior intelligence officer — serving as Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence — from 2000 to 2003. He also served as the director of intelligence for the US Central Command, and is a former commander of the US Army Intelligence and Security Command.

Noonan retired from the US Army at the rank of Lieutenant General in June of this year. He holds an MBA in Management from Western New England College, and a BA in Government and International Relations from the University of Notre Dame.
