Case Studies: U.S. Transportation Command - TRAC2ES, a System that Saves Lives
For the United States Transportation Command (TRANSCOM), Booz Allen was called upon to restart a stalled project intended to automate and improve the tracking of sick or injured service men and women throughout the military's healthcare system.
TRAC2ES, pronounced "traces" and an acronym for the TRANSCOM Regulating and Command and Control (C2) Evacuation System, now gives users almost instantaneous feedback on the whereabouts of patients from origin to destination. Deployed in both Afghanistan and Iraq, TRAC2ES has saved lives in both conflicts, according to TRANSCOM officials.
