Our Work

Booz Allen provides mission-critical support in areas ranging from integrated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and operational intelligence analysis and support, to space and global strike operations, information operations, and command and control. NetOps Training—Booz Allen provided training to more than 6,200 combatant commands and additional OSD personnel on Network Operations (NetOps) basics and advanced responsibilities. The training covered the NetOps functional areas of telecommunications network management, assured information delivery, and assured network protection and availability.
Mission Readiness—Booz Allen supports the Joint Staff and combatant commands with solutions focused on assessing and improving their capabilities. We help them achieve their mission readiness objectives with services ranging from the development of readiness policy and programs to the planning and full life-cycle support of unit exercises, tests, experiments, and mission rehearsal events.
Concept and Capability Development—Booz Allen is at the forefront of joint concept development and assessment of the joint capabilities required by the combatant commands to realize those concepts. For example, we supported the efforts of the USSOCOM to develop Department of Defense (DoD)-wide concepts for irregular warfare (IW), and we supported follow-on efforts to assess the required IW capabilities.
Capability Portfolio Management—Booz Allen developed and implemented a process for DoD’s new capabilities-based management approach. Our expertise helps portfolio managers make informed investment decisions based on strategic guidance, warfighter needs, cost, risk, and performance.
Operational Intelligence Analysis and Support—Booz Allen supports wartime operations in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom across the full spectrum of intelligence operations and support ranging from all-source analysis, targeting, high-value individual targeting, collection management, open source intelligence, threat finance, and HUMINT training.
Joint Knowledge Online—Booz Allen helped the USJFCOM's Joint Knowledge Development and Distribution Capability (JKDDC) establish and upgrade the Joint Knowledge Online (JKO) capability to provide service members with the requisite skills and knowledge to operate effectively in a combat theater.
