Booz Allen Hamilton

Community Support & Engagement

Booz Allen employees recognize the sacrifices made by our veterans, wounded warriors, and their families in serving our country, and we try to pay back their service in ways that show our appreciation and respect.

Every year, Booz Allen employees from offices across the nation volunteer their time and services in activities and events supporting the military community. We participate with nonprofit organizations and also organize our own activities and events to help:

  • Homeless Veterans. We volunteer at numerous centers and shelters for homeless veterans throughout the nation, such as the New England Center for Homeless Veterans, raising funds, donating food and household items, and helping homeless men and women address severe challenges such as unemployment, addiction, trauma, and mental illness.
  • Wounded Warriors. We partner with Operation Homefront to provide hospitality services to wounded warriors and their families at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center; with Operation Helping Hand, our volunteers participate in ongoing events to support wounded active duty patients at the James A. Haley VA Hospital in Florida; and we assist with  care packages, morale-boosting events, and programs for families with the USO.
  • Veterans Organizations. Our volunteers assisted Rebuilding Together in renovating VFW Post 2082 in Lemon Grove, Calif.  We partner with Paralyzed Veterans of America, Disabled American Veterans and the Armed Services YMCA to sponsor the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, and the National Veterans Winter and Summer Sports Clinics.
  • Fundraising. Our employees have organized silent auctions and participated in numerous races (such as a 5K Veterans Day run), dinners, and other charity events, raising tens of thousands of dollars for a variety of programs and organizations that assist military members, veterans, and families.

Booz Allen employees are passionate in serving and helping active duty military personnel and veterans, whose own service to country has been made possible our prosperity and freedom.
