What Our People Say
Our Work

- Booz Allen Hamilton staff from our China Lake office in Ridgecrest, CA make an immediate and lasting impact for the US Marine Corps
Booz Allen Hamilton staff from our China Lake office in Ridgecrest, CA make an immediate and lasting impact for the US Marine Corps by supporting its #1 aviation program: upgrading AH-1Z Vipers and UH-1Y Venoms—aviation “combat veterans”—into more powerful and more lethal 21st century aircraft. “I’m proud to have the opportunity to support combat Marines who are in harms way,” says Booz Allen Senior Associate Jim Seaman.
By providing systems engineering and integration of multiple aircraft and weapon systems components, software operational flight program development, and the information assurance security functions for the entire H-1 Weapons Systems Support Activity (WSSA), the Booz Allen team helped the H-1 team compress an 18-month test program into four months so this critical warfighting capability could be deployed to Marines in combat on time.
Commitment to our Communities
Booz Allen is proud to support our communities as well as our clients, and here in Lexington Park, we participate in many community programs including Christmas In April, Special Olympics, Relay for Life, High School Academic Letter Programs, St. Mary’s River Concert Series, and many more.

“One of our longest-running relationships is with Special Olympics,” says Doug Sanborn, Senior Associate and lead of the Lexington Park office’s Community Relations organization. “We’ve proudly sponsored the St. Mary’s County Special Olympics Spring Games -- in which more than 200 athletes with mental or physical disabilities participate in track and field events – for nearly 20 years.” In addition to providing T-shirts, keepsakes, and gifts, Booz Allen volunteers run a photo booth where athletes can create photo key chains that commemorate their accomplishments at the Games.

"Let Me Win,
But If I Can Not Win,
Let Me Be Brave In the Attempt"
“We know Special Olympics appreciates the support Booz Allen provides for the Spring Games each year,” says Booz Allen Associate and Special Olympics event leader Laura Schuyler, “but the best part is knowing we’ve helped put smiles on the athletes’ faces.”
Booz Allen Employees Distribute New Educational Documentary in Southern Maryland
This August, staff in Booz Allen’s Lexington Park office hand-delivered a new documentary about the desegregation of Great Mills High School between 1958 and 1972 to members of the their local community. One hundred copies of the documentary, “With All Deliberate Speed: One High School’s Story,” were provided to local libraries, colleges, and historical societies in the St. Mary’s, MD community, as well as the St. Mary’s Board of Education for distribution to local schools.
Produced by St. Mary’s College of Maryland Chair of Theater, Film, and Media Studies, Merideth Taylor, this documentary is based on 18 oral histories drawn from more than 30 interviews with former teachers, administrators and students collected by Taylor with help from students and teachers at Great Mills.
