Booz Allen Hamilton

Although known as the home of Will Rogers and the setting of a popular Broadway musical, Oklahoma is more than that. Blending Midwest neighborliness and Western heritage the state is welcoming, progressive, and popular for its cowboy culture.

Oklahoma City, the site of Booz Allen’s office, offers affordable housing in its diverse neighborhoods, as well as highly rated elementary schools and low taxes. Local universities, museums, and the performing arts center provide cultural attractions. Sports activities include baseball, basketball, golfing, and rodeos.

The fast-growing Oklahoma City office employs more than 70 people supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Tinker Air Force Base. Capabilities most in demand include expertise with C130 and C135 cargo planes, supply chain management, acquisition program management, and engineering and operations. Most client work requires that staff have Secret or higher clearances. This is good location for people transitioning out of the military, as domain expertise is much desired.

In recent years, the city has embraced far-reaching green initiatives that include curbside recycling; hazardous waste removal; storm water run-off strategies; and an extensive trail system for biking, hiking, and walking. A Green Infrastructure Task Force advises organizations on green technology and constructing energy-efficient facilities.
