Vault Names Booz Allen #1

Firm secures the #1 spot on Vault’s list for the second year in a row.

Vault has named Booz Allen Hamilton the most prestigious technology consulting firm in the nation for the second consecutive year.  More than 700 practicing technology consultants were surveyed for the third edition of the popular Vault Guide to the Top 25 Technology Consulting Firms. 

The technology consulting firms profiled in this book range from large ones like Booz Allen to specialized boutiques and are headquartered all over the world.  The firms on the Top 20 list were selected because of their prominence in the technology industry and their interest to job seekers.  The ranking measure determined prestige and not revenue, size, or lifestyle. 

The Buzz About Booz Allen

In a section entitled “The Booz Buzz,” the book notes that the firm’s consultants often rave about the organization’s culture.  One staff member was quoted as saying:  “Integrity, honesty, diversity, and passion for your work aren’t just buzz words here; they’re a way of life.” 

The book also notes the range of the firm’s technology consulting work – from transformation and strategy to IT architecture and design, technology transfer, enterprise resource management, imagery analysis, and design and engineering.
