Booz Allen Is One of The 10 Best Firms To Work For - 2004
Consulting Magazine ranks Booz Allen 4th overall.
Consulting Magazine ranked Booz Allen Hamilton fourth overall out of 38 companies participating in its "The 10 Best Firms To Work For 2004" survey. The rankings are based on an analysis of 4,900 surveys completed by consultants of all levels from the firms that took part. Companies were scored entirely by their employees' responses in six equally weighted categories.

Booz Allen Principal Jean Dolan told Consulting Magazine, "If you are looking for a place that values out-of-the box thinking and creativeness, embraces diversity, and stands very strongly behind its 10 business and individual core values, then this is the firm you want to join." Booz Allen's commitment to diversity earned the firm third place in the category for companies that make accommodations for people with disabilities.
The firm was a leader in employee morale — with 82.4% respondents describing morale at Booz Allen as very high/high, placing it third overall. Similarly, the firm finished third in the Career Development category, and received high marks in regards to training and development opportunities, with 88.1% stating they were very satisfied/satisfied in this area.
Booz Allen was also rated well above average in terms of the ability to meet client needs (third overall), the ease of delivering on commitments, (fourth overall), and matching the right people to the right projects (fifth overall). "The firm is a true meritocracy that lives and delivers against its defined values both within the organization and at the client," said one Booz Allen Principal.
