Firm Receives 2nd BEST Award for its Employee Development Program
ASTD recognizes Booz Allen's commitment to employee learning and development.
The American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) honored Booz Allen Hamilton with a 2004 ASTD BEST Award at an October 5, 2004, ceremony held in Washington, DC. The award recognizes organizations that demonstrate enterprise-wide success as a result of employee learning and development. ASTD ranked Booz Allen 5th overall.

"The 2004 ASTD BEST Award winners understand the important link between learning and performance," aid ASTD President and CEO Tony Bingham. "They view learning as a strategic differentiator and a critical element of enterprise-wide success."
Booz Allen and the other 23 winning organizations will be featured in a special section of the October 2004 issue of T+D magazine.
Previous ASTD Awards
Booz Allen received its first ASTD BEST Award and an 8th place ranking in 2003. The previous year, ASTD recognized Booz Allen with two Excellence-in-Practice Awards for its Intranet-based Virtual Campus and People Strategy Campaign and three Excellence-in-Practice Citations for the firm's Peer Coaching program and management training resources available on the Virtual Campus.
