SVP Named One of NY's Top Minority Business Leaders

In April 2003, Crain's New York magazine named Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President Reggie Van Lee to its list of 100 Most Powerful Minority Business Leaders. Richard Parsons, AOL Time Warner CEO and Chairman-Elect; Stanley O'Neal, Merrill Lynch Chairman, Chief Executive, and President; and Ken Chenault, American Express Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, topped the list.

Reggie Van LeeA specialist in corporate transformation and business model redesign projects for many of the world's leading communications, media, and technology companies, Van Lee is the former Managing Partner of the New York office and served on the firm's board of directors. He has co-authored articles on the topic of strategy implementation and developed an innovative and integrated "tool kit" for management with techniques designed to help CEOs realize new strategies and institutionalize existing strategies.

Van Lee heads the Harlem Small Business Initiative (HSBI), a groundbreaking initiative to help small businesses in Harlem succeed in an increasingly competitive economic environment. Founded by the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Foundation, participants in this initiative include Booz Allen, the National Black MBA Association, and NYU's Stern School of Business. A leader in New York's philanthropic community, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dance Theatre of Harlem, is a member of the New York City Partnership, and was named one of "New York's Finest Philanthropists in 2002" in conjunction with National Philanthropy Day.

Van Lee was one of the firm's five African-American Vice Presidents featured in a July 2002 Consulting Magazine cover story titled "The Broken Ladder."
