Firm Ranked One of Germany's Top 50 Employers for 2003

Conducted by the Cologne-based market research and consulting firm Psychonomics in corporation with the German business magazine Capital and Oxford Research Denmark, the Germany's Top Employers 2003 survey revealed that Booz Allen staff report a high degree of satisfaction with the firm and find their career as a consultant to be a challenging one.

The survey, which polled employees at 125 companies in Germany, addressed issues such as management credibility, the degree to which an employee identifies himself/herself as part of a team and their company, and whether employees feel senior management treats them fairly and respectfully. Other factors in the overall ranking included the number of hours allocated for employee career development and training.

In 2002, the human resources consulting firm Hewitt Associates ranked Booz Allen as one of the top employers in Germany for the second year in a row. "Living our values of responsibility for our clients and staff is at the core of our corporate philosophy," says Munich-based Booz Allen Vice President Klaus-Peter Gushurst.

Booz Allen received the following accolades in 2002 for its efforts in its U.S. offices:

• Booz Allen was named to Working Mother magazine's list of "100 Best Companies for Working Mothers." The firm was also chosen as one of the "Top 10" in the magazine's annual rankings, and was named as "Best in Industry" among all finance and professional services firms.



• Consulting Magazine ranked Booz Allen #3 out of the top ten best consulting firms to work for in the United States.



• Global Finance magazine named Booz Allen the Best Strategy Consultant in North America.



• Training magazine recognized Booz Allen's commitment to staff career development and training by placing the firm on its annual 2002 Training Top 100 list.



• Corporate University Xchange (CUX) awarded Booz Allen a 2002 CUX Excellence Award in the e-Learning category.
