Firm once again recognized for its commitment to workplace excellence in the state of Maryland.
For the second year in a row, the Maryland Work~Life Alliance has named Booz Allen Hamilton an Excellent Place to Work for 2004-2005. Congressman Chris Van Hollen and Montgomery County Executive Dough Duncan presented the award to Booz Allen Principal Cindy Ladd during an April 8, 2005, ceremony held in Bethesda, Maryland.
"Each of today's winners strives to raise the bar for workplace excellence — they are the pioneers of the work/life movement and demonstrate to the business community at-large that workplace excellence is not just a 'nice thing to do', but it is a strategic business imperative for financial success," said Lindsay Conn, Executive Director of the Maryland Work~Life Alliance. "Workplace excellence has become a standard, and is no longer seen as an exception to the rule."
The Maryland Work~Life Alliance is a public, private, nonprofit coalition founded by Montgomery County, Maryland and Discovery Communications, Inc. This organization created the 'Workplace Excellence' Awards to recognize visionary employers that are paving the way to a workplace where men and women are able to experience fulfillment and success not only in the workplace, but also at home and within the community.
