Booz Allen Named #1 in Training Magazine's Top 100 Ranking - 2006

Named #1 for employee-sponsored workforce training and development.

Booz Allen Hamilton has received the #1 ranking among top companies in recognition of the firm's comprehensive and committed approach to training and development. This is the fifth consecutive year the firm has been recognized by Training magazine on its Training Top 100 list—the annual ranking of organizations that excel at staff development.

The firm's Chairman and CEO Dr. Ralph Shrader told the magazine, "At Booz Allen, we view professional development as an invaluable opportunity and as a shared responsibility between staff members and the firm. Our learning opportunities are designed to build professional competencies for staff members as they progress through their careers."

One of the distinguishing elements of Booz Allen's training program noted by Training magazine is the firm's policy of prepaying tuition expenses up to $5,000 for its employees annually. Additionally, the magazine noted the more than 800 learning courses, which generated roughly 38,000 days of training for employees last year.
