Narayan Nallicheri
Dr. Narayan Nallicheri is a Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President based in San Franscisco, where he leads the firm’s U.S. service operations business. His focus is on operations and service performance improvement, customer segmentation, service architectures, cost reduction, and process reengineering.
A recognized thought leader, Dr. Nallicheri received Booz Allen’s most prestigious honor, the Professional Excellence Award (PEA), in 1997 for the work he and his team completed for Boeing Commercial Airplane Group.
He has served clients in the U.S. and Europe across a broad range of industries including health insurance, pharmaceuticals, financial services, industrials, and consumer products. His extensive experience has been leveraged to support projects such as:

Developing a vision for IT for a large health plan to reflect change in care delivery environment, and leading efforts to reduce its IT costs

Leading the effort to manage the implementation of the labor management partnership for a large health service organization focused on service and performance improvement

Dr. Nallicheri has contributed to a number of industry articles and reports, including “The Lean, Green Service Machine,” which appeared in strategy+business.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, he was managing partner for the Southwest Group of MarchFirst, where his work focused on e-business strategy, start-up incubation and growth, and Web-leveraged operational performance improvement.
Dr. Nallicheri holds a PhD in materials engineering and a masters in metallurgy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has a bachelor’s from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India, and completed a minor in management from the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T.
