
Gary Labovich, a Mclean-based Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2004 and is responsible for managing the firm’s Technology Team which is an 8,000+ person organization providing technology consulting and systems solutions to clients across the federal government and in commercial markets, specifically financial services, health and energy.
In addition to his functional responsibilities, Mr. Labovich is responsible for driving the Civil Market Technology business which provides strategy consulting and technology solutions to clients in the following markets: Environment, Energy and Transportation; Financial Services; Business of Government which includes GSA, USDA, OMB, Commerce, State Department, and AID; Healthcare; and Homeland Security. He also serves on the firm’s Civil Market Leadership Team where his responsibilities include strategic market development, senior client relationship management, and financial oversight across the $1.3B+ business.
At an institutional level, Mr. Labovich is leading a firm-wide effort to revamp the firm’s Business Proposal Organization to better address the challenge of scale due to rapid business growth. He is also a member of the firm’s prestigious Booz Allen Excellence Awards (BEA) committee which recognizes those projects that generate the highest impact and most meaningful results for clients. Lastly, Mr. Labovich is a member of both the firm’s Leadership Team--which provides overall strategic direction for the firm, and the Operations Committee--which consists of the seven capability and market leaders who have responsibility for managing the day-to-day activities of the organization.
Mr. Labovich holds a M.S. in Public Management and Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.A. with high honors in Economics from Clark University. Upon completing his graduate studies, he was awarded a Presidential Management Internship in Washington, D.C. Besides his work at Booz Allen, Mr. Labovich is a former Chair and now a member of the Board of Trustees for the National Capital Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
