
Chuck Jones is a retired Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President who serves as a Senior Executive Advisor. He joined Booz Allen in 1989 after a successful career in the US Navy and has served clients across the full spectrum of U.S. government agencies, with particular focus on the defense and national security communities.
Over the last several years, Mr. Jones' business focus has been on the elements associated with organizational change and human capital development, to include development and delivery of high-end training and education programs through both traditional and web-enabled venues. The overall objective of these efforts is to assist clients in dealing with and managing change in order to transform their leadership and organizations into more effective and efficient entities that are better prepared to deal with the challenges of tomorrow. Since relocating to Hawaii, Mr. Jones' responsibilities have broadened to include business development, delivery, and oversight of a broad spectrum of Booz Allen service offerings to defense and other public sector clients in the Pacific to ensure that the full breadth of the firm's capabilities are known and made available to clients across the region.
In addition to his fifteen plus years in industry, Mr. Jones has more than 24 years of experience as an officer in the US Navy serving as an intelligence specialist working at all levels of the intelligence community in Washington, DC; in the field; and at sea in operational and combat environments, including command. Complementing a decade of experience serving in surface ships, and multiple analytic and middle management assignments within the intelligence community, Mr. Jones served as an intelligence officer on the staffs of the Commander-in-Chief US Pacific Fleet, Commander Seventh Fleet, and Commander Carrier Group Five.
Additionally, Mr. Jones had highly successful tours as the Officer in Charge of the Fleet Ocean Surveillance Information Center Pacific, and as the Commanding Officer of the Fleet Intelligence Center Pacific (now the Joint Intelligence Operations Center, Pacific). His background and experience in the Navy and industry give him outstanding insight into and understanding of organizational development and change management as applied to government and industry, as well as the requirements of corporate executives and staff to meet evolving needs at the point of performance.
At present, Mr. Jones is the Chairman of the Board of Catholic Charities Hawaii, a $30 million organization serving more than 50,000 clients in need across the State of Hawaii. He also serves as a Director on the Board of Energy Industries Corporation, an energy solutions provider specializing in high value-added energy conservation programs for commercial businesses. He is also a member of the Dean’s Council for the College of Engineering, University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Additionally, he is an active member of the Naval Intelligence Professionals, the National Military Intelligence Association, and the Navy League. Mr. Jones was awarded a B.S. degree from the University of Utah. He is a distinguished graduate of the Defense Intelligence College, Washington, DC, (M.S. equivalent in Strategic Studies/Strategic Intelligence) and a distinguished graduate of the Naval War College, Newport, RI. In addition, he has completed coursework towards an MBA with a focus on finance and organizational development.
