Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President Sharon Muzik supports the firm’s Unified Combatant Command (UCC) effort; leads the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) line of business; and provides leadership for 250 staff in the Tampa office.
Since joining Booz Allen in 1994, Ms. Muzik has developed major programs and contracts with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Office of Secretary of Defense, U.S. Army, and Air Force. Throughout her three decades of professional experience in public and private industry, she has also led government and contractor teams in developing and implementing innovative and operationally effective applications of information system technologies.
Knowledgeable in all phases of information systems design, development, and implementation, Ms. Muzik’s experience spans the full spectrum of program management responsibilities including planning, budgeting, staffing, facilities, logistics, process improvement, quality control, and financial management.

Ms. Muzik has been honored with several recognitions for her work, including the Meritorious Service Award from the U.S. Navy. She also led the Booz Allen team that earned USSOCOM’s David Packard Excellence in Acquisition Award.
She is a life member of the National Defense Industrial Association; Women in Defense, Washington, D.C. chapter; and Association of the U.S. Army. She is an industry advisory committee member for the Minority in Engineering Program at the University of South Florida, and a former vice president of the Tampa/St. Petersburg chapter of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association.
Ms. Muzik holds an M.S. degree in management information systems from the George Washington University, and a B.S. (cum laude) in information systems management from the University of Maryland.
