
Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President Tony Mitchell coordinates the firm’s client support and business management efforts to key elements of the Department of Defense.
From the Hampton Roads, Virginia office, Mr. Mitchell leads Booz Allen’s support for the U.S. Combatant Commands, serving clients and developing business across the nation’s Geographic and Functional Joint Commands. He also co-leads the firm’s support for U.S. Navy Warfare Area Commanders—Air, Surface, Subsurface, Cyber, and Expeditionary—and for the Operational Numbered Fleet.
With almost 25 years of consulting experience, Mr. Mitchell contributes his extensive knowledge and insights in several areas to Booz Allen engagements, including:
• Requirements development and management
• IT infrastructure assessment and performance management
• Program management
Within the firm, Mr. Mitchell serves in governance roles as a member of the Executive Development Committee and the Booz Allen Excellence Award Committee. In addition, he sits on the board of directors for the United Negro College Fund – Special Programs, where he is chairman of the Audit, Budget, and Finance Committee.
Mr. Mitchell holds an M.S. degree in information systems management from the George Washington University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the General Motors Institute, now known as Kettering University. He also completed the Senior Executives in National and International Security program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
