Senior Vice President Corrine Kosar is based in Arlington, Virginia, where she leads Booz Allen Hamilton’s strategic initiatives in support of the U.S. Coast Guard and co-leads the effort to support the law enforcement and border protection markets in the Department of Homeland Security.
With more than 25 years of program management and technical experience, Ms. Kosar has led numerous strategic initiatives in support of Coast Guard programs since joining the firm in 1995.
One example of Ms. Kosar’s expertise is an engagement for the Coast Guard's Deepwater Capability Replacement Project in which she and her team developed a conceptual design of an integrated system of assets to increase Coast Guard operational effectiveness and minimize total ownership costs over 30 years.
The project included developing concepts of operations and logistics and analyzing alternatives; developing a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) architecture, implementation plan, industrial capacity, and acquisition cost estimate; and conducting an affordability analysis.
Her prior experience includes support to the Naval Sea Systems Command, where she led major program initiatives in submarine, surface ship, and patrol boat acquisition. She also worked for Resource Consultants Inc.
Ms. Kosar serves on the board of the Coast Guard Foundation and is a member of the American Society of Naval Engineers and the Surface Navy Association.
Ms. Kosar earned a B.S. degree in business logistics from Pennsylvania State University. She also completed the Harvard Kennedy School Program for Senior Executives in International and National Security.
