Keith Catanzano

Vice President

Keith Catanzano, a Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President based in Washington DC, advises government, private, and non-profit sectors on how to design and employ training, education, and simulation solutions to solve complex problems and enhance operational performance.

He is an industry leader and subject matter expert in advanced analytics with a focus on modeling and simulation, gaming, and blended training solutions. He has over fifteen years’ experience designing and developing simulations, blended training, and gaming technology for US government organizations and Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Catanzano led Booz Allen’s Modeling and Simulation capability and created its Blended Training (Live-Virtual-Constructive) business. He currently leads the firm’s US Army Analytics business.

His US government clients have included the Department of Defense (DoD), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Mr. Catanzano has also consulted with Fortune 500 pharmaceutical, aerospace & defense, and transportation companies in the areas of modeling and simulation.

Mr. Catanzano has designed and facilitated wargames in the areas of space, national security, and concept development on behalf of DoD and Intelligence Community clients. In addition Mr. Catanzano has led panels and workshops for Military Operations Research Society (MORS) and Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS).

He has authored numerous articles on the convergence of technology, analytics, and advanced learning techniques, including enhanced training, training for a 21st century military, network-centric warfare, and measuring the value of information, and he has been featured in a broad set of publications on innovation in training, education, and simulation.

Mr. Catanzano has a B.S. degree in industrial engineering and international affairs with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.A. degree in national security studies from Georgetown University.
