Rene Castro, a Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President based at the firm’s North Charleston, South Carolina office. He leads the firm’s business in the Charleston region, primarily with the Space and Naval Warfare System Center-Atlantic. He also directs numerous efforts with Navy and US Marine Corps (USMC) clients across the East Coast, including Fleet Cyber Forces Command/10th Fleet. Mr. Castro also leads an internal cross cutting effort focused on identifying opportunities to assist Navy and Marine Corps clients with their cyber and electronic warfare challenges.

Through his 26 years with the firm, Mr. Castro has enjoyed a long history of supporting Navy Information Assurance (IA) and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) programs.
He has served as the program manager for numerous IA-focused contracts and has consulted on many initiatives including cryptographic programs, key management systems, computer network defense, and health-related security projects.
Mr. Castro holds a Masters degree in business from Johns Hopkins University and an undergraduate degree in communications from Rutgers University.
