1961 — Charles P. Bowen is appointed president of Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

1962 — Booz Allen changes structure from a partnership to a privately held corporation.

1963 — Firm performs first assignment for NASA—predicting performance of new satellite.

late 1960s — Booz Allen becomes consultant of choice to Wall Street, advising on strategy and automation.

1967 — Commissioner Pete Rozelle asks Booz Allen to help structure the newly formed National Football League.

1969 — Sales reach $55 million.
