Each CHINFO labor category is defined with regard to general education and experience guidelines, and typical duties. Booz Allen recognizes that successful performance depends on having the right skills and experience. These skills and experience, in turn, are acquired through the proper mix of education and professional experience. Increasingly, we find that the skills needed to support complex efforts, and to meet today’s problems and tomorrow’s challenges, are not always supported by a traditional education and work experience combination.
Below is a list of 22 labor categories available under this contract. These descriptions represent a broad range of functional and domain expertise resident in the current employees of the Booz Allen team.
Minimum Experience: Four years of experience in news media relations and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Responsible for collecting published and broadcast reports by news media and assembles into compilations for organizational awareness of news reporting. Performs additional review of news reporting to determine measures of performance and measures of effectiveness.
Minimum Experience: Three years of experience in news media relations and a bachelor’s degree
Functional Responsibility: Responsible for receiving queries from news media, enters initial information into a centralized database, directs the queries to the appropriate action officer, and supports the tracking of queries from receipt to completion. Prepares quantitative and qualitative reports.
Minimum Experience: 20 years of experience in communication.
Functional Responsibility: Responsible for communication strategies for highly complex issues, and directly advises the senior-most personnel in the Navy.
Minimum Experience: At least 16 years of experience in communication and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Performs as a team leader or individual in the execution of all tasks such as reviewing existing communications plans, revising public communication plans, developing communication strategies and plans, conducting audience analysis, developing reputation risk management report, developing public outreach plan execution timelines, providing research services (analysis of existing poll data), conducting assessment of communication plan execution, advising Navy senior executives on communication strategy, and developing a web log (blog) and advise on blogging.
Minimum Experience: Nine years of experience in communication and a bachelor’s degree.

Functional Responsibility: Performs as part of a team or as an individual in the execution of tasks such as producing Navy Rhumb Lines product, distributing Navy Rhumb Lines product, archiving Navy Rhumb Lines product on P-A-Net, and other tasking related to supporting communication alignment across the Navy.
Minimum Experience: Four years of experience in communication and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Performs as part of a team or as an individual in executing tasks such as Navy PA Calendar Update and creating synchronization report (identifying potential conflicts and opportunities to partner/complement), and other tasking related to supporting event synchronization across the Navy.
Minimum Experience: Nine years of experience in communication and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Performs as a team leader, part of a team or as an individual responsible for developing media list for each Navy Week, coordinating media contact for each Navy Week, developing outreach program to Navy units to raise visibility of NAVCO’s ability to connect Navy people with hometown and namesake media, setting up media interviews with Navy people during newsworthy contingencies, and publishing guides for Navy Week event planning and execution.
Minimum Experience: Three years of experience in communication, two years of experience in website management/data entry and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Performs as part of a team or as an individual responsible for developing database for Speakers Bureau, providing music support and aviation support, entering data into database, and supporting CHINFO in developing web-based solutions for community relations/outreach.
Minimum Experience: Four years of experience in communication and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Performs as part of a team or as an individual responsible for developing embarkation opportunity report, embarkation nominee report, embarkation coordination report, embarkation feedback and analysis report, and other tasking related to distinguished visitor/group visits and embarkations across the Navy.
Minimum Experience: Four years of experience in communication and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Performs as part of a team or as an individual in the execution of aviation unit availability report, aviation support request report, and other tasking related to requests for naval aviation support.
Minimum Experience: Two years of experience in communication and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Performs as part of a team or as an individual in the execution of community relations overview report, community relations event report, program report (e.g., JCOC, Senate Youth Foundation, Close up), and other community relations efforts, as required.
Minimum Experience: Two years of experience in communication and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Performs as part of a team or as an individual in the execution of community relations overview report, community relations event report, program report (e.g., JCOC, Senate Youth Foundation, Close up), and other community relations efforts, as required.

Functional Responsibility: Performs as part of a team or as an individual in executing imagery marketing report, maintaining list or database of customers, and performing other imagery distribution efforts, as required.
Minimum Experience: Nine years of experience in communication and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Performs as a team leader, part of a team, or as an individual responsible for coordinating arrangements for PA leadership meetings, supporting coordination of PA Training Symposium, maintaining professional development folder on P-A-Net, maintaining Schedule of Training for PA Community, coordinating CHINFO Training, maintaining professional development contacts list, maintaining subject matter expertise list, and other tasking related to supporting professional development of the Navy Public Affairs Total Force.
Minimum Experience: Four years of experience in communication and one year of experience in determining doctrinal, organizational, training, material, leadership, personnel, and facilities requirements to support US military public affairs or other US military capability sets, and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Performs as part of a team or as an individual in executing Requirements Status Report, submitting documents in JCIDS, and other processes related to identifying and validating requirements, and programming resources.
Minimum Experience: Three years of experience in communication, one year of experience with or an intermediate level of training on the EMC Documentum E-room suite, and a bachelor’s degree.
Functional Responsibility: Performs as part of a team or as an individual in executing P-A-Net development report, P-A-Net training plan, and P-A-Net lesson plans, and conducting P-A-Net training (occasional travel).
