Booz Allen takes our commitment to small business very seriously.  We have a proven record of meeting or exceeding small business goals.  The RPTI team employs innovative methods to ensure we will exceed small business utilization requirements.

Small business concerns and minority institutions make important contributions to Booz Allen by enhancing our competitive edge, our performance on specific contracts, and our bottom line. They also play a critical role in the future of our global economy.

To facilitate the use of small businesses under RPTI, Booz Allen offers the following—

• We have a Small Business Office that maintains an online portal and registration process for all companies interested in working with us.
• Our SBO has again received a rating of Highly Successful from the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) on our most recent audit by DCMA. 
• The Department of Defense (DoD), Office of Small Business Programs, awarded Booz Allen the Nunn-Perry Award in 2005 for the success of its mentor-protégé relationship with a woman-owned, small disadvantaged IT firm.  In 2008, Booz Allen again won the Nunn-Perry award for mentoring an SDVOSB company. And in 2010, we won the third award.
• Over the life of our mentor-protégé programs, Booz Allen has successfully mentored more than 25 protégé firms through various programs.
