Immigration Services Modernization BPA

The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is continually working to reduce application backlogs, minimize application fraud, improve customer service, and strengthen national security. In an effort to deliver on these objectives, CIS competitively selected Booz Allen Hamilton to assist in developing a 10-year Business and IT Strategic Plan (aka, Services Modernization) that would identify a clear set of prioritized, mission-driven strategies, and a complete Implementation Plan. The resulting Business and IT Strategic Plans gained the confidence of the OMB, the Congress, and CIS management. In April 2002, CIS awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement to Booz Allen to provide program management and technical support for the implementation of the Services Modernization Program.  Within the program, Booz Allen has played a critical role in providing strategic direction to the Services Modernization implementation teams as well as providing analytical and implementation support to several initiatives identified by the Director as having the potential for having near-term impacts on process efficiency, process integrity, and customer service.
