One of Booz Allen’s newest employee resource groups, the Native American Forum (NAF) advances understanding of Native American cultures and philosophies. Members of the forum use communication, awareness, events, mentoring, and community support to further connect with each other and senior leaders for professional growth.
The Native American Forum’s partnerships with organizations such as the American Indian Science and Engineering Society and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) help position the firm as the employer of choice for Native Americans.
Booz Allen Executive Vice President Jimmy Henry is NAF’s sponsor. “Many of our perceptions of Native Americans are affected by history and Hollywood," he says. "But the NAF works to help Booz Allen staff understand the real struggles and achievements of the Native American population."
