Booz Allen’s Latin American Forum (LAF) celebrates the culture and diversity within Latino and Hispanic heritage and community, coordinates professional development programs, and provides community service opportunities. These initiatives enable forum members to grow their careers and network with peers and senior leaders. Through this diversity forum, the firm has access to skills, experience, and capabilities that are unique to the Latino and Hispanic identity.
The LAF was awarded the Booz Allen Excellence Award in the Category of Diversity & Inclusion for invigorating new levels of diversity, development, and support for our Latino and Hispanic Community. Current initiatives include the implementation of a Spanish conversation series; panel discussion with senior Booz Allen and external leaders, and strategic partnerships with external Hispanic societies, such as the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.
Booz Allen Senior Vice President Angie Messer is the forum’s sponsor. She says, “Individually and as an organization, the leadership and members of the LAF have exemplified a commitment to understanding, supporting, and celebrating diversity.”
