Carol Evans, president of Working Mother Media, says, “This year’s 100 Best Companies are leading the way for the rest of the nation. They have created not only essential benefits, like flexible work options and telecommuting, but have also shown their commitment in new ways like elder care referral and legal assistance to help busy parents manage their personal lives as well as their careers.”
Jennifer Owens, editorial director of Working Mother Media, said, “These Best Companies know what it takes to keep all employees, but especially their employee moms, productive and engaged at work. As the stress surrounding work-life integration continues to rise, so does the opportunity for creating a win-win environment for employees and employers. The Working Mother 100 Best Companies see the payoff from their programs and policies and are outstanding examples for companies to emulate.”
Booz Allen Senior Vice President and Chief Personnel Officer Betty Thompson said of the honor, “Booz Allen is proud to have appeared for fourteen years on this important list of companies offering innovative work options for working mothers. I am especially pleased because our 2012 ranking is further evidence that our continued efforts to create a family-friendly workplace are effective.”
