Twelve Booz Allen Employees to be Named Modern Day Technology Leaders at Black Engineer of the Year Awards Ceremony

Twelve Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE:BAH) employees have been named 2012 Modern Day Technology Leaders (MDTL), part of the prestigious Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA), sponsored by the Career Communications Group. The winners will be honored at a luncheon to be held during the 26th BEYA Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Global Competitiveness Conference, February 16-18 in Philadelphia, PA.

Booz Allen’s Modern Day Technology Leaders are accomplished professionals working in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. This year’s honorees are: Kwadwo Addai-Mensah, Associate; Kemo Dassau, Associate; Marti Gross, Associate; Monta Harrell, Associate; Robert Jordan, Senior Consultant; Al Keeler, Senior Associate; Kangalla Pefok, Associate; Nana Sarfo, Associate; Judith Thompkins, Lead Associate; Richard White, Lead Associate; Perry Wilderson, Lead Associate; and Niquel Wynn, Lead Associate.

Kwadwo Addai-Mensah is an Associate within Technology on the Strategic Technology and Innovation team. As Enterprise Architecture (EA) lead, he is a member of the Human Resource Management (HRM) EA team, supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) Personnel and Readiness Information Management (P&R IM) project. Mr. Addai-Mensah leads the thread architecture development for HRM Core Business Mission (CBM), setting agenda, goals, task schedule development and execution, to meet milestone deadlines.

 

 

Kemo Dassau is an Associate within Analytics on the Business Analytics team. He provides strategic guidance and support in the area of program metrics and parametric modeling, as well as strategic engagement, planning and execution, and optimization interaction for the Defense Intelligence Agency Solutions for Intelligence Agency Intelligence Enterprise and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (Hampton Roads).

 

 

Marti Gross is an Associate within Technology on the Systems Development team. Displaying outstanding leadership in the technology and engineering fields, Ms. Gross provides her deep subject matter expertise in building system engineering processes as a task lead for two software development projects and as the lead Requirements Manager for the VISE program, a large software development project for the National Security Agency.

 

Monta Harrell is an Associate within Technology on the Systems Development team. As the E-Space Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team lead, Mr. Harrell leads a team which is the sole testing authority for E-Space program. Under his leadership, they are responsible for testing all E-Space deployments, conducting Development Test & Evaluation (DT&E) testing and ensuring overall quality of deployments prior to customer review.

 

 

Robert A. Jordan is a Senior Consultant within Technology on the Strategic Technology and Innovations team. As a Knowledge Engineer at the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mr. Jordan is the Directorate of Management on-site technical advisor for Army, Navy, and Air Force senior military leaders, managing day-to-day operations of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Process Management Office (PMO).

 

Al Keeler is a Senior Associate within Technology on the Cyber Technologies team. As the market lead for the firm’s Cyber Technologies team located at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, Mr. Keeler provides program management, strategy and planning support to several Department of Defense (DoD) organizations, including the Air Force Network Integration Center (AFNIC), Air Mobility Command (AMC) and the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM).

 

 

Kangalla (Dillon) Pefok is an Associate within Technology as an Embedded Software Engineer. Mr. Pefok supports the U.S. NAVY Corps with development for Combat Identification Systems and Air Traffic Control which includes providing software/systems engineering support for the UPX24 and UPX29(V) Systems at the NAVAL Air Station at St. Inigoes, MD.

 

 

Nana Sarfo is an Associate within Engineering and Operations on the Acquisition and Program Management team. As Transport/Transition Specialist, Mr. Sarfo supports the development of key Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) program documents for the Department of Navy (DON) by leveraging industry networks acquisition best practices and assessing current network requirements via interviews with stakeholders and analysis of historical documents.

 

 

Judith Thompkins is a Lead Associate within Technology on the Strategic Technology and Innovation team. As a Senior Business and Data Analyst, she is dedicated to developing business strategies and software that help clients improve the effectiveness, quality and security of their information systems. Ms. Thompkins has demonstrated expertise in the design and development of customizable and flexible software and large databases, as well as in the implementation of data quality management systems.

 

 

Richard White is a Lead Associate within Technology on the Systems Development team. As Operations and Management (O&M) Lead for the E-Space program, Mr. White manages a staff of 25 team members to provide support for the overall operation and maintenance of the program’s infrastructure and project environments spanning several domains and supporting more than 1000+ end users and 50 project team members.

 

 

Perry Wilderson is a Lead Associate within Technology on the Strategic Technology and Innovations team. As an Enterprise Architect Task Lead, Mr. Wilderson leads development of the Air Force Integrated Personnel and Pay System (AF-IPPS) functional requirements architecture, providing strategic guidance and program management support to Headquarters Air Force, Air Staff in the development of Enterprise Architecture (EA) for Air Force personnel and pay services delivery transformation.

 

 

Nicquel Wynn is a Lead Associate within Technology on the Systems Development team. She serves in three critical roles for two key delivery orders within the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Technology Analysis Center (IATAC). Ms. Wynn is a technical leader for software test and evaluation, not only directing and assigning team activities, but also providing technical analysis for test results and procedures.
