Horacio D. Rozanski

Booz Allen Chief Operating Officer Horacio Rozanski has been named to the prestigious 2012 Hispanic Business Influentials, a list of 50 U.S. Hispanics of U.S. citizenship who have had a national impact, and whose achievements inspire other Hispanics to similar endeavors. The list comprises leaders from an array of fields, including lawmakers and educators, top-ranking military officers and high-level government officials, corporate executives and marketing directors.

Hispanic Business magazine praises Rozanski’s vigilance in “embedding diversity and inclusion into the firm’s business strategy and employment cycle.” As a result, the magazine says, senior leaders have become champions and mentors; representation of minorities has increased; and Booz Allen continues to be recognized widely as an employer of choice.

Rozanski has played a key role in the firm’s major strategic initiatives, including the 2008 separation of Booz Allen’s core government and commercial businesses into two distinct firms; Booz Allen Hamilton’s 2010 IPO; its 2011 expansion into international and commercial markets; and Vision 2020, a leadership initiative designed to chart the firm’s future.

He holds an M.B.A. with high honors from the University of Chicago and a B.B.A. (summa cum laude) from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. He sits on the boards of advisors for the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and the Jewish Primary Day School of the Nation’s Capital.
