Booz Allen Sponsored Global Dynamics, Health Themes at Aspen Ideas Fest
Firm’s thought leaders led discussions around Global Dynamics and Health.
Booz Allen Hamilton was a major sponsor of the second annual Aspen Ideas Festival, which took place July 3-9, 2006, in Aspen, Colorado. This year, the firm sponsored the festival’s “big picture” Global Dynamics track, which focused on the potential and peril as well as the opportunities and costs associated with an increasingly interdependent world.

The Global Dynamics track explored the six key drivers shaping today’s global environment: demographics, technology, economics, society, environment, and governance. The intersection of these key drivers create complex, interdependent, and often unpredictable consequences that transcend geographic borders and organizational boundaries.
In addition to the Global Dynamics track, Booz Allen sponsored one of the festival’s ten spotlights. The State of Our Health spotlight addressed the promise that medicine holds and what challenges — and dangers — lie in acquiring even greater power to influence and control nature to an unprecedented degree.
