Booz Allen's McConnell Cited as One of the Most Influential Consultants in 2002
The June 2002 issue of Consulting Magazine named Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President Mike McConnell to its annual list of the top 25 consultants in the United States.
A former director of the National Security Agency, McConnell joined Booz Allen in 1996 to lead the firm's Infrastructure Assurance Center of Excellence. He advises commercial and government clients on issues such as global strategic security, cyber security, critical infrastructure assurance, information operations, and information assurance.

A leading expert in the global strategic security field, McConnell recently spoke about the price of risk at the World Economic Forum's annual U.S. Meeting; co-authored an article for strategy+business magazine on strategic security with Booz Allen Chairman and CEO Ralph Shrader; and gave the keynote address at the 2002 LOMA Systems Forum where he talked about the vital role financial services and insurance companies play in homeland defense.
