Banerji Named Head of Booz Allen’s Commercial Consulting Business

Banerji will lead the firm’s commercial consulting business globally and its public sector business outside of the US.

Shumeet Banerji has been named the leader of Booz Allen Hamilton’s Global/Commercial Business.  Banerji will report to Booz Allen CEO Ralph Shrader, who announced the new appointment to Booz Allen employees on February 2, 2008.  In his new position, Banerji will lead the firm’s commercial consulting business globally, and will lead its public sector business outside of the US.

Shumeet Banerji

Banerji is a member of Booz Allen Hamilton’s Leadership Team and the firm’s Board of Directors and has most recently served as the head of Booz Allen’s European business.  His client work has focused on serving financial services organizations and civil government ministries on issues such as long-term savings and retirement provisions. Prior to joining Booz Allen, he was a member of the faculty at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He received his Ph.D. degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
