Booz Allen SVP Mark Gerencser Among Top 25 Consultants of 2007

Consulting Magazine’s annual list showcases “all that’s right in consulting.”

Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President Mark Gerencser has been named one of the Top 25 Consultants of 2007 by Consulting Magazine. The publication describes the consultants as “a snapshot of all that’s right in consulting.”

With 22 firms represented, Consulting Magazine calls its 2007 list a “microcosm” of the profession and market, with a cross-section of CEOs, vice presidents, partners, and officers included. Gerencser is portrayed as a consultant who tackles the big problems by applying “an engineer’s thinking.”

Gerencser was the Managing Director of Global Government Markets and previously led the effort to build Booz Allen’s national and homeland security and commercial enterprise resilience businesses.  He has supported commercial and federal clients in defense, intelligence, and homeland security, as well as government agencies and ministries around the world.  As a member of the Firm’s Leadership Team, he helps set the firm’s strategic agenda, including marketing direction, resource allocation, and major investments.
