Booz Allen Leadership Participates in 2007 WEF Annual Meeting in Davos

Firm’s experts will focus on topics ranging from leadership in a networked world to the future of transportation systems and global travel and tourism.

Six Booz Allen Hamilton vice presidents will be among the 2,000 leaders from politics, business, academia, the media, and civil society who are attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, from January 24-28, 2007.  This year’s theme, The Shifting Power Equation, reflects the elements that will shape the global agenda in 2007.

Dr. Ralph Shrader, Booz Allen Chairman and CEO, will speak on a major panel discussion entitled, “Leading in a Networked World.”  The panel members will examine how leaders gain fresh mandates to effectively move agendas forward, in an always connected world with new competition and increased weight of emerging market economies, even as power shifts and disperses.  He also will take part in a private panel on “Talent Management.” This lunch session brings together Young Global Leaders, Schwab Social Entrepreneurs, and CEOs from the world's top companies to discuss the complexities of attracting, retaining, and growing talent.

Daniel Lewis, Managing Director of Booz Allen's Global Commercial Markets, will participate in a public workshop on “The Future of Mobility.”  This workshop will examine ways to redefine transportation systems to develop sustainable forms of mobility that reflect the needs of cities and users.  Lewis also will participate in the Aviation and Travel & Tourism Governors meeting.

Senior Vice President Bill Jackson will participate in the Automotive Governors meeting, and Senior Vice President Adam Bird will participate in the Young Global Leaders’ “Building Our Community” workshop.  Senior Vice President Klaus Mattern will represent the firm at two Global Health Initiative Meetings and will speak about Public-Private Partnerships, and he will attend small group sessions with government leaders of China, India, and Brazil. 

Senior Vice President Rolf Habbel also will be attending the Annual Meeting.
