Joseph E. Garner Joseph Garner is a McLean-based Senior Vice President leading the firm's Defense market and a member of the Firm's Leadership Team. With over 3,500 staff and sales in excess of $1.2B, he has responsibility for all business development, service/product delivery, and people development activities. In addition, Mr. Garner is a former member of the firm’s Board of Directors (BOD) and chair of the BOD’s Finance Committee. Mr. Garner has more than 25 years of experience in the area of Program and Acquisition management. He led the development of Booz Allen’s business in the Lexington Park, Maryland, office supporting Navy programs at the Naval Air Warfare Center-Aircraft Division. He also led Booz Allen’s business development and service delivery activities in support of the newly formed United States Special Operations Command. Mr. Garner also led Booz Allen’s Army business with specific focus on activities in support of the US Forces Command in Atlanta, Georgia, where he built a service capability in the IT technology area to include LAN/WAN, configuration management, and operational support services. He continues to assist Army customers in strategic leadership issues ranging from BPR, organizational restructuring, and privatization to performance metrics and force modernization. Mr. Garner received a BA in Social Sciences from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and has completed a number of graduate level courses in Program and Acquisition Management. profile updated August 2007 Related Links...
