William F. Stasior - Former Chairman & CEO
William F. Stasior is the former Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., one of the world's largest management and technology consulting firms. He led Booz Allen through a period of significant growth in both its commercial management consulting and government technology businesses from 1990-1999.
Today, Mr. Stasior serves as a board member and consultant providing advisory services in the areas of corporate strategy, leadership development, technology assessment, and business operations. He is on the Board of Directors of OPNET Technologies, a highly successful software company that specializes in optimizing network performance and SkyTerra Communications, an innovative satellite communications company. He is also on the Advisory Board of Vanu Inc., a pioneering company in the development of software-defined radio.
Mr. Stasior has a long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility and is the recipient of numerous awards for his leadership in community service. On behalf of Booz Allen, he serves on the Board of Directors of the United Negro College Fund and on the Dean's Advisory Board for Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Mr. Stasior's personal consulting practice was concentrated in information technology, with particular expertise in communications, information security, and surveillance systems. He played a key role in building Booz Allen's large IT businesses in both government and commercial markets and has served on panels of the US National Research Council.
Mr. Stasior holds Masters and Bachelors degrees from Northwestern University in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He lives in Tucson, Arizona and New York City. Married with two grown children, his interests include golf, hiking, and reading.
