Firm Named the 2005 "Most Valuable General Services Administration Schedule Contractor"
The Coalition for Government Procurement honors Booz Allen.
McLean, VA, November 9, 2005—The Coalition for Government Procurement (CGP) last night awarded Booz Allen Hamilton the prestigious 2005 "Excellence in Partnership Award" in ceremonies at the Pentagon City Ritz Carlton.
The awards banquet honored the innovators and leaders making the greatest contributions to the success of the General Services Administration's Multiple Awards Schedules Program in 2005.
"The EIP awards provide the highest level of public recognition for the individuals and organizations that have made the Multiple Award Schedules Program the government's most popular acquisition method," said Larry Allen, Executive Vice President of the Coalition. "It is important to recognize the hard work of those at all levels of government contracting who keep the business of government moving forward."
In a congratulatory note to Booz Allen Principal Bill Hillsman, the CGP Director of Membership Kathy Lamb said, "On behalf of the awards sponsors, we'd like to congratulate you for being selected to receive an Excellence in Partnership (EIP) Award! Your peers in industry and government have selected you and your organization to receive the Industry Most Valuable Schedule Contractor award."
The "Most Valuable Schedule Contractor" title is awarded to the schedule contractor that has worked tirelessly to promote the schedules program, having an outstanding reputation of working with GSA, as well as serving the customer's needs.
The annual awards event celebrates the multiple award schedules program by recognizing the people and organizations that have made significant strides in the promotion and utilization of GSA's Multiple Award Schedules Program. Attendees include contractors and government personnel.
