Computerworld Names Booz Allen One of the Best Places to Work in IT
Firm also named one of the best places for benefits in 2006.
IDG’s Computerworld magazine has once again named Booz Allen Hamilton to its list of 100 Best Places to Work in IT. Booz Allen moved up the list from 36th in 2005 to secure 24th place this year.

Computerworld also named Booz Allen to the Top 10 Best Places for Benefits. The firm earned this distinction in part by having the second highest annual training budget per employee out of the 100 top ranked companies.
Booz Allen’s commitment to diversity is evident in its IT professional staff. The firm landed in the top 10 of firms with the largest percentage of IT managers who are minorities and in the top 20 of firms with the largest percentage of IT staff who are minorities.
“It is an honor to be recognized, we are particularly proud of the Top 10 rankings we received in Diversity, Training, and Benefits. It underscores Booz Allen's continued commitment to its most valued resource - its people,” says Booz Allen Principal Daniel Gasparro. “We believe strongly in the underlying principle of the Computerworld 100 award that ‘people and their ideas’ are what differentiate how well technology supports this business mission.”
The magazine also noted that Booz Allen offers its IT staff the opportunity to help develop the firm’s three-year IT strategy plan, serve on customer advisory councils, and join industry councils and associations.
Since 1994, Computerworld's annual "Best Places to Work in IT" feature has ranked the top 100 work environments for technology professionals, based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, diversity, career development, training, and retention.
