Booz Allen Named 2004 Corporate Neighbor of the Year

Firm's Hampton Roads office honored for its spirit of service in 2004.

Virginia Business magazine and VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads presented Booz Allen Hamilton with a Large Corporate Neighbor of the year award at a December 15, 2004, ceremony. The award was given in recognition of Booz Allen's exemplary leadership in workplace volunteerism. Hampton Roads-based Booz Allen Principal Anthony Mitchell accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

The staff members at Booz Allen's Hampton Roads office have given back to their local community through their involvement in charity events like Relay for Life, Clean the Bay Day, and Join Hands Day and through partnerships with non-profit organizations like Ronald McDonald House, Reading Enhances All Children (REACH), and the Hampton Roads Corporate Volunteer Council (HRCVC).

Booz Allen and the other award winners were highlighted in the December 2004 issue of Virginia Business magazine.
