2003 Workplace Excellence Award

The Maryland Work-Life Alliance, a statewide coalition of private, public, and nonprofit organizations, has named Booz Allen Hamilton to its 2003 list of Excellent Places To Work. Montgomery County Executive Douglas Duncan and Congressman Chris Van Hollen presented Booz Allen Principal Lucy Stribley with the award during a February 13, 2004, ceremony held in College Park, Maryland.
The Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval awarded to Booz Allen recognizes the firm as a visionary employer that views supporting work-life balance as a strategic business imperative. "Employers find that incorporating work-life initiatives into their organizations is a valuable talent recruitment and retention tool, and overall quality-of-life benefit," said Linsday Conn, Executive Director of the Maryland Work-Life Alliance.
