American Cancer Society Honors Booz Allen with Excalibur Award
Firm and its employees have supported the fight against cancer for nearly a decade.
On February 6, 2004, the American Cancer Society (ACS) presented Booz Allen Hamilton with the Excalibur Award in recognition of the firm's generosity and support. Dennis Doughty, President of Booz Allen's Worldwide Technology Business, said that the award reflected employees' extraordinary commitment to making a positive impact in the communities in which they live.

The ACS also honored Booz Allen with the National Relay for Life Team Award. In 2003, staff members in 15 cities across the United States raised over $100,000 through their participation in Relay for Life.
Volunteers from Booz Allen offices in San Antonio, Texas; New York, New York; San Diego, California; Norfolk, Virginia; and points in between also raised thousands of dollars for the ACS in 2003 through their participation in events such as Daffodil Days, Cabaret for a Cure, chili cook-offs, and cookbook sales.
