Major New Study Says Booz Allen is #1 in Consulting Industry

Booz Allen Hamilton topped the list in the key categories of performance and favorable client perceptions, according to a new study from Kennedy Information — "The Client-Side Intelligence Report: Purchasing Behavior, Brand Awareness, & Firm Perceptions." The study examines the spending, preferences, and perceptions of more than 100 commercial consulting clients in the United States.

A Top Performer

Booz Allen received the highest overall ranking in the performance category of the 17 management consulting firms studied. Performance was evaluated based upon expertise, implementation, price, quality, thought leadership, and timeliness. Booz Allen was ranked the highest of all strategy firms in implementation and timeliness and tied with another strategy firm for first place in thought leadership. The firm received a second-place ranking in expertise and quality.

Firm Is Positively Perceived

Booz Allen also ranked number one in the perception category, which asked clients if they view specific firms favorably or unfavorably. The firm received 65% favorable ratings, and only 1% unfavorable ratings. In the category of client awareness, Booz Allen was second among strategy firms, and fourth overall.
