Laurie S. Villano Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President Laurie Villano supports the firm’s clients with her extensive program management, software and systems engineering, and design and development experience. From her office in Maryland, Ms. Villano provides technical guidance and quality assurance reviews for system and software development contracts. She led the firm’s business case analysis, which led to the outsourcing of the IT infrastructure of a major intelligence client; incorporated non-mission telecom, networks, desktops, and enterprise management services; and resulted in the largest outsourcing initiative ever adopted by the agency. Ms. Villano has performed principal roles in all phases of the software lifecycle, including software design, coding, testing, integration, and documentation. She was the technical lead for a software development system developed for a federal agency and used to calculate nuclear weapon damage effects to personnel, equipment, structures, and forests. For multiple Booz Allen assignments, Ms. Villano has taken the lead to design systems, hardware interfaces, and software testing. She was the chief designer and implementer for a series of automated microwave control system development and integration efforts, which use digital processing to perform analysis. She also developed and conducted database management system operator and system administrator classes. She has been or is currently a member of several professional organizations, and served as chairman of the board and president of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association’s (AFCEA) Central Maryland Chapter.
