Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer/Chief Financial Officer

Sam Strickland is a Booz Allen Hamilton Executive Vice President and is the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer, leading the Global Operations Team from Booz Allen’s headquarters in McLean, Virginia. 

Mr. Strickland leads Booz Allen’s infrastructure operations which encompasses acquisitions (including contracts, subcontracts, and pricing), global finance, information services, infrastructure services, people services, and core services (a.k.a. shared services).  

Mr. Strickland has global responsibilities in key infrastructure areas and oversees strategic planning for the firm.  Since 1996, Mr. Strickland has led infrastructure support for the firm’s government business—its largest sector.  He became Senior Vice President in 2004 and is a recognized authority on business operations for the professional services industry and infrastructure as a strategic differentiator for corporations.

Mr. Strickland serves on the Board of Trustees at the George Mason University Foundation, Inc., Board of Trustees at the Inova Health System Foundation, and is the Treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club.  Previously, he served as a long-time Board member and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Capital Hospice.

He is a certified public accountant in the State of Virginia.  He holds a B.A. degree from the College of William and Mary.
