William Stewart

William Stewart is a Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President with more than 20 years of professional experience in the analysis and development of communications networks and Information Assurance (IA) systems.

Mr. Stewart leads a team of more than 300 consultants that works with public and private sector clients to create new offerings and to secure their most critical business systems. They provide services throughout the entire life cycle, including:

Business and Market Strategy
Policy Planning and Program Management
Research and development
Systems engineering and architecture
Systems test and integration

Mr. Stewart’s staff also provides many IA-specific services, including:

Certification and accreditation
Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE)
Mission assurance and computer network defense
Penetration testing, risk and vulnerability assessments

In addition, the team has deep expertise in current and emerging IA technologies, including:

Mr. Stewart has led numerous large-scale client assignments. For several years, he lead a $24-million program to provide Key Management System Engineering to multiple client organizations. He also supports private sector clients in the development of business strategies, plans, and secure system implementations.

Before joining Booz Allen, Mr. Stewart worked for a major electronics firm where he developed hardware and software security devices. He also served for 20 years as a Signal Officer in the US Army and held positions such as Battalion Commander, Brigade/Battalion S-3, and Company Commander. Mr. Stewart holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and a BS in Engineering from Widener University.
