Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President George Schu supports the Technology Capability efforts in the firm’s federal and commercial markets.

His primary functional areas include:

• Continuity of Operations (COOP)
• IT Resilience
• Cross Domain Solutions
• Risk Management
• Identity Management
• Anti Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing

Mr. Schu is active in government and industry associations, such as the Industry Advisory Council (IAC), and Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (AFCEA). Before joining Booz Allen in 2007, he lead the growth of the VeriSign business, delivering a range of cybersecurity and critical infrastructure services. Mr. Schu also supported the government market at Oracle, where he specialized in software solutions for government.

Prior to his years in industry, Mr. Schu enjoyed a career in the Navy, culminating in his assignment as Commanding Officer of a technical training center in Pensacola, Florida, where he was responsible for training all branches of the Armed Forces in Cybersecurity, Electronic Warfare, and SIGINT.

Mr. Schu holds a master’s degree from Georgetown University, and is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He speaks Italian, Russian, and Spanish.
